1. Miracles are real

There is a lot of talk in the media about miracles. People talk about how miraculous it is that some people are cured of terminal illnesses, or how amazing it is that the Texas gulf coast got blanketed with snow at Christmas time. In the end, these miracles are just amazing, natural occurrences. But there are some things about miracles that we need to understand before we can say that they are real.

One of the main issues is that science cannot confirm miracles. a course in miracles book This is because science deals with things that happen naturally. Science does not have the ability to look beyond what happens naturally. In order to say that a miracle happened, scientists would need to study the event to see if it was in violation of the laws of nature.

But there are some problems with this idea. For example, there are some deists who believe that God created the world and then stopped doing anything to it. These deists think that God cannot “break” the natural laws that He established at Creation. This is an incorrect view.

In fact, the Bible says that Jesus performed many miracles. And, according to the Bible, a miracle is something that is above or beyond the laws of nature. So, if Jesus could walk on water, or heal the sick, then these are examples of miracles.

In addition, there are other events that people call miracles. These include things like a person who survives a horrific car crash, or the survival of a plane crash in the middle of the wilderness. These are all amazing, but they are not miracles. To claim that an event is a miracle, it must violate the laws of nature.
2. Miracles are supernatural

Many believers are convinced that miracles are a thing of the past, relegated to the credulous and superstitious age before modern scientific study. But what if that were not the case? This five-part series explores the miraculous works of God throughout church history to show that miracles are not only possible, but also continue to occur.

Craig Keener, whose books have sold upwards of thirty million copies, presents clear evidence that miracles are real. He starts by dismantling the argument that science must exclude miracles because they violate the laws of nature. He argues that just as God created and established the laws of nature to govern His universe, He is free to supersede those natural laws on occasion.

In part two, Keener delves into a few biblical examples of miraculous healings. He then explains that miracles are supernatural acts of God that can only be explained by the fact that God intervened in human history. He also shows how the miracles of Jesus are consistent with a biblical worldview.

Part three examines the role of miracles in salvation and how they are used by the Holy Spirit to transform lives. In the final section of the program, Keener discusses the role of miracles in the Church and how they can energize believers to cooperate with the Holy Spirit and carry out the Great Commission. The program includes a 39-page Study Guide that accompanies each of the five lessons. The study guide provides questions and references to help you dive deeper into your own private study of the Scriptures on miracles. The study guide is included with the DVD and CD set, and can also be purchased separately.
3. Miracles are the work of God

God performs miracles because He wants to reveal Himself. He uses them to show that He is real, that he has the power to act, and that He cares for His creation. He also performs them as signs that He is working to bring people to salvation.

Throughout scripture, we see a variety of men perform miracles: Moses, Elijah, Elisha, and Paul. But, we should remember that they are just mere men. When these men performed miracles, it was not to ascribe the power of their miracle-working to themselves. When the crowds tempted to worship Barnabas and Paul after their miracles, the apostles were quick to remind them that they were just men who had been empowered by the Holy Spirit. The miracles were a demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit, not a display of the apostles' personal power or authority.

It should come as no surprise that Jesus would also perform miracles. The miracles that he performed revealed that He is the Son of God. He was God incarnate. His miracles gave glory to God and showed that he had the power to heal the sick, deliver those who were oppressed, and raise the dead.

Miracles are an important part of the Bible, but they do not define the church. The church is defined by faith in Jesus Christ. God works miracles today to build our faith in Him and show that He is the living, loving, and powerful God that we know in the Bible. He will continue to do miracles until the end of the world, which will be a time of complete restoration and peace on earth. His ultimate miracle is the sacrificial death of his only begotten Son on the cross, which was sufficient to overcome sin and death.
4. Miracles are the work of the Holy Spirit

It is the Holy Spirit who empowers Christians to perform miracles. In fact, it is one of the spiritual gifts listed in 1 Corinthians 12:10 – after apostles, prophets, and teachers, but before healing, deeds of power, help, forms of leadership, and various kinds of tongues. The Holy Spirit empowers believers with the gift of miracles to bring about signs and wonders, including raising the dead, curing diseases, restoring sight to the blind, giving speech to the mute, and restoring the use of limbs to the lame.

Many people point to Jesus’ miracles as indelible proof that He is God. This is an incorrect argument. In fact, the Bible indicates that at times He performed a miracle to show His divine power (as with the transfiguration and resurrection), but most of the time He did a miracle by calling on the power of the Holy Spirit working through His human nature.

Moreover, the Bible gives numerous examples of people who were empowered by the Holy Spirit to perform miracles. Moses, Samuel, Elijah, and Paul are just a few of the individuals who performed miracles. When these men performed miracles, they didn’t worship themselves. They knew that the miracles were a testament to the power of God, not their own.

The same is true of those who perform miracles today. They don’t worship themselves or the miracles; they believe that the miracles are a manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit, who is at work to restore all things and to bring about the Kingdom. Those who perform miracles without this belief, however, are doing the works of Satan and hindering God’s work, which is to bring souls to salvation by faith in Christ.
5. Miracles are the work of the angels

The angels are a great source of miracles. Their work on this earth is to bring healing, protection and spiritual awakening to the human race. They also play a significant role in the restoration of creation and the kingdom of God. As the Bible states, “Miracles were the signs which accompanied the Son of man.”

There are many different types of miracles: healing, exorcism and nature (such as turning water into wine). All these miracles are the work of the angels. However, the miracles of healing and cleansing are the most important. These miracles indicate that God’s kingdom has come to earth.

They are able to do this because they have the power of transformation, which is greater than the power of corporeal matter. This is why the angels are called ‘magicians’. The angels can transform the body of any creature. This is why a soul can be healed or restored to life, even though it was lost through sin.

Another reason the angels can perform miracles is because they are not subject to the order of the universe as the bodies are. The miracle of throwing a stone upwards, for example, could be performed by an angel because it is not according to the law of nature.

Despite the fact that angels are usually depicted as powerful beings of light with wings and beautiful white feathers, they are actually very ordinary beings. The angels are a great mystery, and most people do not know much about them. Yet, almost all people of all religions and some with no religious belief whatsoever have a primal inner understanding that they exist. This is because the angels are here to serve all good people, regardless of their race, culture, sex or religion.
