Ko Jin-young, who is stretching to revive the "3rd place in 2R," said Ko Jin-young, "The shot sense is stable," and LPGA also said, "I look forward to winning four years ago."

Ko Jin-young, a female professional golfer, tied for third on the second day of the CPKC Women's Open (total prize money of $2.5 million) on the LPGA Tour.

Ko Jin-young shot a 2-under 70 with four birdies and two bogeys in the second round of the tournament held at Shonashi Golf and Country Club (par 72, 6709 yards) in Vancouver, Canada, on the 26th (Korea Standard Time). Ko Jin-young, who recorded a 5-under 139 total in the middle, remained in third place, two strokes behind the leader Megan Kang (USA).

On this day, Ko Jin-young started with a bogey on the 10th hole (par 4), but she reduced her number of strokes by recording birdies on the 14th hole (par 4) and the 16th hole (par 4). Ko Jin-young, who cruised by adding birdies on the first hole (par 5) and fifth hole (par 4), tied for third place with Yuka Sasoyu (Japan) with a bogey on the ninth hole (par 4), the last hole.

After the game, Ko Jin-young said in an interview with LPGA, "It was easier to play because there was no wind than yesterday, but the course itself was not easy, so I tried to concentrate more as usual," adding, "It was difficult to match because the green speed was a little fast." Ko Jin-young's 94.4% (17/18) green hit rate was sophisticated, but she struggled relatively with 33 putts per round. "I want to play stably on weekends because I have a stable shot," he said. "I think it will be important to play with a brave heart without paying much attention to the result," he said.

Ko Jin-young won the HSBC Women's World Championship in March and the Cognitive Founders Cup in May, but has been sluggish since staying outside the top 10 in all six LPGA Tour competitions. In the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour's Jeju Samdasoo Masters tournament, which she participated in in early August, she withdrew due to her forced march and minor injuries.

Ko Jin-young is aiming to change the mood in this tournament. In 2019, he won the tournament at Magna Golf Club, Ontario, with a total of 26 under par for four days, five strokes away from second place. The LPGA's official website expected Ko Jin-young's revival, saying, "It is noteworthy whether she will be able to reproduce the success of the time in the next 36 holes."

Meanwhile, Kim Se-young, who participated together, tied for sixth with three birdies and bogeys, recording a total of three under par 141 strokes. Kim Hyo-joo, Lee Jung-eun (27), Lee Mi-hyang, and Choi Hye-jin were tied for 11th place (1 under par 143 strokes). Lee Jung-eun (34) is tied for 21st place (even par), while Yoo Hae-ran and Jeon In-ji are tied for 39th (2 over par).

Megan Kang shot a 6-under 66 with five consecutive birdies on the second hole, finishing first with a 7-under 137 in the middle. World No. 1 Lilia Bu of the U.S. tied for 21st with an even-par 144.  스포츠토토
