KBO's all-time record for second place in business trips is imminent

Samsung's Kang Min-ho, who ranks first in the number of games played in the Korean Baseball Organization (KBO) league among active players, is about to break the second place in the category.

KBO said on the 28th, "Kang Min-ho played 2222 games in the KBO League until the 27th, leaving only two games to break the 2,223 game record of second-place Jung Sung-hoon (former KIA)."

Kang Min-ho, who joined Lotte in 2004, made his first debut game against Sajik Hyundai on Sept. 19. On August 8, 2013, in his 10th year in the league, he made 1,000 appearances against LG at the age of 27 years, 11 months, and 21 days. In the match against KIA in Gwangju on April 30 last year, he achieved 2,000 games for the 15th time in history.

Catchers consume more physical strength than other positions. However, Kang Min-ho played more than 100 games in 17 of the 20 seasons he played in the KBO League. Since the 2005 season when he started getting opportunities to play, he has played an average of 117 games in the season, showing his persistence and consistency. Kang Min-ho is the only catcher among the top 10 players in the total number of games. 스포츠토토

It is also quite close to 2,237 games of Park Yong-taek (former LG), who is ranked first in the category. Kang Min-ho's team, Samsung, has 14 games left this season, so it is impossible to break the record during this season, but if there are no variables, it is certain to break it early next season.

If Kang Min-ho continues his current performance, attention is focusing on whether he will be able to break the number one record for most business trips and achieve 2,500 business trips beyond 2,300 games that no one has achieved.
