Former Champion Jockey Harry Skelton Joins Star Sports As Brand Ambassador

Through weekly blogs, we will provide star sports customers with information about their rides and runners on the field, regularly provide video content, and expose them to social media.

Star Sports has recruited Harry Skelton as an honorary ambassador for the National Hunt brand.

Skelton won the 2020/21 Jump Jockey Championship and is a stable rider in his brother Dan's strong yard in Warwickshire. Each week, he will provide regular video content and social media exposure, as well as update star sports customers on his rides and runners in the yard through his blog.

He recently joined retired jockey Davey Russell as a star sports ambassador, and the pair will provide weekly insights and analyses as well as during the main spring festival.

"I'm really excited to be working with Star Sports," Skelton said. "They have always invested in racing through sponsorship, Cheltenham Preview Nights and other activities. I'm looking forward to producing a blog and introducing their clients to decent winners over the next few months.

"Davey [Russell] is a top player and it would be great to catch up with him all season. It would be strange that in March he would not be in Cheltenham's weighing room, but I'm sure he would have a lot of opinions about English and Irish runners."
