Golden Entertainment Holds $50,000 Golden Pyramid Tournament

Golden Entertainment, a gaming company that owns and operates casinos, taverns, and video game devices in Nevada and Maryland, is hosting its first slot tournament, the Golden Pyramid Tournament. Scheduled to be held in July and August at several Golden Entertainment sites across Southern Nevada, the tournament will offer True Rewards members the opportunity to compete for a $50,000 share in bonus slot play, including a $10,000 prize.
Qualifiers will be held every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Charlie Boulder and Charlie Decatur, Arizona, located in Las Vegas, starting Tuesday, July 4. True Rewards members must earn 200 default slot points for the day on Monday to qualify for the tournament every Tuesday. Members can apply for additional entries between 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday by earning 100 basic slot points on the same day for up to two entries per guest.
True Rewards members living in Loughlin, Nevada, can earn 1000 default slot points for Wednesday's qualifying round at Aquarius Casino Resort or Edgewater Casino Resort. Aquarius will play preliminary matches from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Thursday during July from Thursday, July 6. Members will earn an additional 1,000 default slot points on Wednesday, earning up to two entries per guest each week.
Starting on Thursday, July 6, the preliminary round will be held at the Farham Nugget Hotel & Gambling Hall from 11 am to 7 pm on Thursday, July. True Rewards members must earn 500 default slot points Monday through Wednesday to participate in the tournament week Thursday.
In addition to the top 10 points from the qualifiers for Parum Nuggets and Aquarius, the top five tournament points from each of the two regions in Charlie, Arizona, will receive up to $500 in free slot play and a coveted golden ticket to participate in the Aquarius Grand Finale Tournament.
A total of 120 winners will participate in the $50,000 finale tournament in Aquarius on Saturday, Aug. 12. The top 40 winners of the finale tournament will split $50,000 in bonus slot play, while the first-place winner will receive $10,000 in prize money. All players will receive free room offers on Friday and Saturday nights of the tournament.
