Woori Bank’s unsung hero, Woori Bank’s spiritual pillar

Hidden heroes and spiritual leaders stood out.

The same goes for Asan Woori Bank. A team where several players demonstrate their strengths at the right time. Lee-Sam Choi (182cm, F) and Hye-Jin Park (178cm, G) are also among them. Therefore, Woori Bank stood above its opponents in the second round of 2023-2024.
 Woori Bank achieved 6 consecutive wins since the 2012-2013 season. Various players were members of the Woori Bank dynasty, including Lim Young-hee (current Asan Woori Bank coach), Yang Ji-hee (former Busan BNK coach), Park Hye-jin and Lee Seung-ah (retired).
However, there is a hidden hero in the Woori Bank dynasty. This is Choi Yi-sam. Lee-Sam Choi is a tall forward with precise shooting and movement without the ball. He is also the player who knows our bank’s air defense system best.
Also, when the triangle formation of Kim Dan-bi (180cm, F), Park Ji-hyun (183cm, G), and Park Hye-jin was performing poorly, Choi I-sam's capabilities shone. He had short, concise movements coupled with quick and accurate shooting. Defense and rebounding in places not seen were also outstanding.
