Kiwoom announced on the same day, "We held an agreement ceremony with Goyang Special City on the 14th to extend the Futures Team's ties."
Kiwoom Wi Jae-min, the CEO of Goyang Special City Hall, Lee Dong-hwan, Mayor of Goyang Special City, and Kim Hye-sung (24), a former member of Goyang Little Baseball Team, attended the signing ceremony.
The club signed an agreement with Goyang Special City in November 2018 to launch Goyang Heroes and have used the Goyang National Baseball Training Center as its home stadium since the 2019 season.
Based on the trust built over the past five years, the two sides signed an agreement to extend the right of ties for another five years until 2028, and promised to continue joint marketing and social contribution activities for the development of sports culture in Goyang, including the operation of the Futures League.
Kiwoom CEO Wi Jae-min said, "We are happy to continue our partnership with Goyang Special City. Goyang Heroes is a place that plays an important role in nurturing the team's future resources.
