Professional footballer confirms second list of charity football players

The 2nd Professional Football Players Association charity soccer competition will be held at Ajou University Gymnasium in Suwon on the afternoon of the 16th for the second time.

The Korea Professional Footballers Association has confirmed the list of players who will participate in the soccer tournament, which is designed for aspiring soccer players and leads the respectful soccer culture that seniors and juniors create together.

First of all, "TEAM Lee Geun-ho" will feature Lee Keun-ho, chairman of the Players Association, Chung Da-ho, director Cho Hyun-woo, Lee Young-jae, Shim Seo-yeon, and Yang Dong-hyun.

In addition, Chairman Ji So-yeon, Kim Min-woo, Shin Kwang-hoon, and Nam Joon-jae will participate in "TEAM Ji So-yeon", and goalkeeper gloves will be firmly protected by Cho Soo-hyuk and Lim Min-hyuk, who gained huge popularity last year.

Vice Chairman Yeom Ki-hoon, Director Yoon Seok-young, Director Kwon Eun-som, Director Kim Hye-ri, Hwang Jae-won, Hong Jeong-woon, and Yeo Min-ji will participate in the "TEAM Yeom Ki-hoon," and Vice Chairman Kang Ga-ae and Director Jung Sung-ryong will protect the goal.

Lastly, Vice Chairman Lee Chung-yong and assist-winning director Baek Sung-dong, Koo Ja-cheol, Kang Sung-jin, Jang Si-won and Hwang Moon-ki will participate in "TEAM Lee Chung-yong", and this year's top scorer Joo Min-kyu will aim for a goal.

"The list of players who will participate in the second charity event has been finalized," said Lee Keun-ho, president of the Korea Players Association. Team Lee Keun-ho, Team Ji So-yeon, Team Yeom Ki-hoon, and Team Lee Chung-yong will face off against each other. They will win all the teams and compete against each other. I will definitely win, and Chairman Ji So-yeon said, "I made my team different this year from last year. I will not let it slide because I am about to retire. I will definitely win."

Vice Chairman Lee Chung-yong also said, "It is a charity match, but it is expected to be fierce as the four teams will play as a tournament. I will prepare for the upcoming match through tactical training with my teammates," while Vice Chairman Kang Ga-ae said, "Many players are expected to participate this year as well as last year. I will give you fun and touching moments."

Meanwhile, Kim Hoon-ki, secretary-general of the Players Association, said, "After the season is over, we have prepared our best to provide soccer fans with fun attractions and to create a culture that sends players who are preparing for a second life after finishing their soccer lives.
