The national team of the 30th Asian Baseball Championship, led by head coach Chung In-myung, beat Hong Kong 9-0 in the second round of the Group A preliminary round at Taichung Intercontinental Stadium.

In the bottom of the second inning, Korea scored the first run with a solo homer over the left fence. Then, the team scored an extra run through a grounder by Chung Hyeon-seung (a senior at Inha University).

In the bottom of the third inning, Kim Bum-seok (LG) and Shin Yong-seok (NC) hit a timely hit, and Shin Yong-seok hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the fifth inning, widening the gap.

South Korea, which faced a chance to load the bases with one out in the bottom of the seventh inning, decided the game as Seo Jung-hoon (Dankook University) brought all runners home with a double on the left field line.

Euro Gyeol, who played as the fifth batter, led the lineup with Korea's first home run of the tournament with two hits (one home run) from five times at bat. Park Joo-chan and Shin Yong-seok hit multiple hits side by side, and Seo Jung-hoon helped the lineup with three RBIs.

On the mound, starting pitcher Jang Ji-soo (Hanwha) pitched three scoreless innings, and later Kang Dong-hoon (Jungang University), Jang Min-ki (KIA), Kang Min-gu (Yonsei University) and Cho Byung-hyun (SSG) were throwing separately to check the pitcher's condition.

South Korea, which is in Group A with Taiwan (Taiwan), Hong Kong and Palestine in this tournament, is scheduled to play its final preliminary round match at the same place as Palestine at 1:30 p.m. on the 6th (Korea time).   토토사이트 추천
