Kim Chan, who recorded a total of 12-under 201 for three days, will play in the final round tied for third place by seven strokes with the leader.  

Kim Chan, who was born in 1990, won eight times in his career on the Japanese professional golf tour and JGTO, and also won two times on the Conferry Tour, the second-tier PGA Tour, last year.

Kim Chan, who entered this year's PGA Tour as a top-ranked player in the Conferry Tour last year, was born in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, attended Arizona State University in the U.S., and spent his professional life mainly in Japan.

In the 2020-2021 season, he also won the JGTO prize money.

This year, his best performance was that he appeared in three tournaments on the PGA Tour before the tournament and tied for 14th on the American Express in January.

Kim Chan, who is 188cm tall and has excellent long balls, sent up to 337 yards today and made birdies in three of the four par-5 holes.

Jake Nap of the U.S., who shot 8 under par today, took the lead with a total of 19 under par 194, and Sami Balimaki of Finland will compete for the final day title with a four-shot difference.
