Kedarkantha Trek
Located deep in the Govinda Wildlife Sanctuary, the Kedarkanth trek offers panoramic views of the two highest peaks of the Himalayas, Swarga Rohini and Bandar Panch.
September to November: Fine weather with light rain and wildflowers.
December to February: The best months for climbing are December through February for snow covered terrain, but be prepared for cold weather.
March–April: new green appears after the snow melts.
Starting from Sankari village, the trek climbs past Judaka Talab, Kedarkantha Base Camp and Sankari. It is 20 to 24 kilometers long and takes four to six days to complete.
