The Olympic team will first participate in the WAFF U-23 Championship as an invited team during the March A-match. The WAFF U-23 Championship will be held in Dammam, Saudi Arabia from the 18th to the 26th. Sixteen teams will participate in the final preliminary round of Asian qualifiers for the Paris Olympics, and the top three teams will advance to the Olympic finals.
