"I'm more excited about volleyball this spring than nervous."

Lim Dong-hyuk, the "big boy" of Korean Air, expressed his confidence. Lim started the match against KB Insurance in the sixth round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League held at Uijeongbu Gymnasium on Wednesday, and scored 19 points including one block and one serve. His attack share was as high as 41.43 percent and his attack efficiency was 48.28 percent. He made only two mistakes.

Jung Ji-seok and Kim Min-jae also scored eight points each. Korean Air won the final match of the regular season 3-0 (25-23, 25-13, 25-21).  토토사이트

Korean Air, which earned three valuable points, scored 23 wins and 13 losses (71 points), and successfully jumped to the lead, beating Woori Card (23 wins and 12 losses, 69 points). Woori Card, which played one game less, will go on an away road to Samsung Fire and Marine Insurance on the 16th. Woori Card has a strong will to beat Korean Air to advance to the championship game as the No. 1 player in the regular league. Attention is focusing on the game on the 16th.

Korean Air, which is aiming to win its fourth consecutive integrated championship for the first time in the V-League, is also paying keen attention to the match between Samsung Fire and Woori Card.

"I hope Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance will finish the season strong," Korean Air coach Tommy Tilikainen said of the match between Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance and Woori Card. Yosvani is also a good player. Yosvani will also try to finish the season in a good way. "I don't think I will watch that game. I don't think I will enjoy it."

Lim recently failed to play on the court due to injury to his foot. However, he was appointed as the starting pitcher on the day. Lim was determined to play in the court. "He seems to have pain. I don't think it's a big problem," Tillikainen said.

Lim said, "I don't think it's a good situation. I watched the last OK Financial Group match in the warm-up zone, and I felt bad. I was very determined to play today somehow. I prepared for the match by talking a lot with the coach," adding, "I am not feeling completely well, but I still wanted to be helpful to the team. I wanted to participate even if I took medicine and taped. I showed my commitment to the coach, and I think he was appointed as a starter because he liked me."

As for the current condition of the foot, he said, "I went to the hospital, but I think the exact diagnosis will come out over time. I think the pain is coming up to my shin because my foot is not good. As the pain came up once in a while, I tried to conduct a technical attack rather than a powerful attack as the steps got twisted," he said. "I think we need to focus on treatment and reinforcement exercises to make sure that we can show 100% of our performance in spring volleyball."

Lim has achieved career highs this season. He scored 559 points in 124 sets in 36 matches of the regular season. He has recorded the most points scored by an individual in a single season. Lim's role has become important as a main member of his team. The same applies to volleyball in spring. If he played in spring volleyball as a substitute, he will have a different chance this time. "He will have a better chance," coach Tilikainen said.

Lim Dong-hyuk said, "I think all the team members are looking at me first. I'm trying to help myself work out in any situation. I'm trying to play one more step to repay this. In our team, the outside heater and middle blocker work out well only when the apogit works out well. I feel pressured, but I'm trying to enjoy it," he said.

Ahead of the spring volleyball tournament, he said, "I'm more excited than nervous. If I achieve one goal here, it will serve as an opportunity for me to grow to a new level personally. I don't want to avoid it," he said. "Even when I became a defense player during a game, the coach calls me 'Big Boy' first even if I don't sign my autograph. I'm practicing increasing my possession rate even during practice. It's fun and I'm honored," he said.

Im Dong-hyuk, an Apogit player born in 1999, went on to become a professional player right after graduating from high school. "I had a hard time, too. There was a time when I cried because I was a pro at first because I couldn't get used to it. Looking back, it is a memory, but it was hard. Still, I was able to adapt faster thanks to help from my brothers and coaching staff. If I talk about people I am thankful for, the interview will take 30 minutes longer," Im said with a smile.

Lim plans to leave his post to serve in the military this year. "In a way, I competed with foreign players for seven seasons, and there were times when I couldn't play even though I had many good memories. I always think about raising my self-esteem rather than self-complacency," Lim said. "Now I am called the golden age of Korean Air. You never know when I will meet them again. I want to make history in Korean volleyball."
