The first step in the replacement project is to turn off the water to the toilet and flush any water that may be in the tank. If you forget this step, you will have a giant mess to clean up! You should now disconnect that water line.

1) As soon as you realize that the old water heater has to go start draining it.

water line repair With a putty knife, carefully scrape the remaining parts of the wax ring from the area. Clean the spot so that the new wax ring will be level. Place a new wax ring on the opening and replace the toilet. Bolt it back onto the floor, reconnect the water supply tube and watch for leaks as the water is turned back on.
water line repair Unscrew the water supply line from the bottom of the tank. Have a rag handy because water will invariably still leak out no matter how good of a job you thought you did drying the tank.
I was faced with making a decision: either I hire a new plumber to take the sink out and put a new one in, or, stick to my original decision to buy this brand of sink, and suffer with it until I found someone who could fix it right. I suspected that if my plumber couldn't even tighten the bowls properly, then he did something else wrong too. Obviously the money to follow my first choice was going to be a lot higher over my original cost, then my second choice, but if the sink was toast, and the company wasn't going to honor its guarantee, that's the only thing I could do to get a sink that worked right. Then again, there was the third choice of not doing anything and living with a leaky sink. But that choice would cost me extra as well, in water and electric bills.
This so impressed me, that I thought, here is the man who might fix my sink problem, and I told him about my kitchen sink. The look on his face was priceless, as he said, "Ridiculous! Sinks don't leak if they're new." He even showed me what to do. He took out a big heavy-duty screwdriver with a big flat-head blade and showed me. "This is what's probably lose." He put the blade of the screwdriver in a notch the size of a giant screw head that was right in the center of the drain basket where the plug sat in.
It takes time to become a good plumber, i.e., he has to spend more time for his career to be successful. There are many areas where a plumber works like "wet only plumber" & in "Gas Industries". In the first type work is done in homes such as fitting bathroom, sprinkler system. Second type is very sensitive. To work in a gas industry one has to first achieve Council of Registered Gas Installer Certificate. Some plumbers normally work in domestic areas such as leaky taps & blocked sinks etc. Normally whatever field a plumber chooses the basic thing he must know is Water Regulations & Building Regulation.
Unfortunately, people will band together to gain support on something regardless of whether or not it is true. In this case, one person shared their thoughts on how ineffective the letters are and yet, they had nothing but their opinion to support this. They found a group of willing listeners who quickly became active supporters of the belief.
