The documentary "See Her, Be Her," which focuses on women's baseball players from seven countries, will be screened ahead of Game 3 of the 2024 Major League World Series (WS).

The documentary was produced by Grassroots Baseball, a company co-founded by renowned American sports photographer Jean Fruth and former director of the National Baseball Hall of Fame Jeff Idelson, and was made to illuminate female baseball players who play without losing their passion for baseball even in poor conditions.

According to the New York Times (NYT), the documentary features all former men's baseball legends, emphasizing the need to create a "women's baseball league."

The New York Times reported that Hall of Fame members Carl Ripken Jr., Tony Perez and Ferguson Jenkins, as well as retired Major League stars Ichiro Suzuki, Park Chan-ho and Jimmy Rollins, voiced their support for women playing baseball.

In the documentary, Carl Ripken Jr. insisted, "There should be a women's baseball league." Carl Ripken Jr. added, "My sister, Ellie, was a baseball player as good as my father, me, and my brother, but she didn't have a women's baseball league and had to switch to softball."

Ichiro Suzuki, a Japanese legend and Hall of Famer, is also striving to develop women's baseball. Ichiro has held a friendly match against female high school players at Tokyo Dome, a Japanese baseball holy site, to encourage more women to participate in baseball.메이저놀이터
