Huge surge in orders on All Jigsaw Puzzles

All Jigsaw Puzzles has seen a 210% increase in sales in March vs. 2019. This is alongside a surge in engagement on social media channels as our customers begin to self-isolate.

Jigsaw puzzles are a great way to entertain yourself at home without screens and other digital distractions. It is an activity which can be done on your own or with your family and loved ones. It turns out that most people knew this already!

To be completely honest, we were not prepared for this. I hope that our customers understand. We are currently fulfilling orders in a timely manner across all our channels, but we are currently only able to deliver to the UK, USA and Ireland as our carriers are still operating there. It is possible that there will be a small delay of a few days as we try and keep up!

We are lucky as, (as of today – 19^th March 2020) all of our staff are healthy, but we also have staff taking well-earned holidays as we reach the end of the financial year. However, our fantastic, hard-working team are getting stuck in and even our Managing Director Brian O’Donnell has been helping to make and fulfil orders for our customers.

In our warehouse in Devon, we make our own jigsaw puzzles for adults designs, but we also make framed items such as wall art and also paper products such as maps. We have taken the decision to divert as much of our resource as possible to making jigsaw puzzles for 3 reasons.

1. We are customer-led. This is what our customers would obviously like us to do.
2. At this time of year, with less staff and resources available we have had to make a call on where to point our staff.
3. Finally, jigsaw puzzles are the item that we make that will be most helpful to our customers and community during this unsettling time. Jigsaw puzzles are perfect for entertaining yourself for hours at home. It will mean that we miss sales from our other products (although we are also fulfilling those where we can) but that’s ok.

We are a small business based in the heart of Devon, employing 30 people. The health and safety of our staff and their loved ones is an absolute priority. We have processes in place to protect our staff for as long as we can, following NHS and Government guidelines.

We are aware that at some point we may have to close our doors, but in the mean time, our team is working so hard to meet our customers wishes and keep our little business going.
