POSITION OF EACH PLAYERS OF THE ICE HOCKEY

Goalie - Goalie is the main player on the ice responsible for stopping pucks from entering the goal, when shot from the opposing team. Also, the goaltender has the most creative freedom when it comes to gear colors and their overall look on the ice. THE GOALIE IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS

Defenseman Players (Left and Right) - The goal of the defensemen is to prevent the opposing team from scoring. They must react quickly, talk to their teammates and skate back. The defenseman is a key player in a team’s ability to block goals and apply pressure to the defensive zone. It’s up to the defensemen to help the goalie and avoid shots on goal.

Forward-Centre - is the central attacker in hockey. He is the usual scorer. The center also allows the two forward wings to score by interrupting the opponent’s defenders. The center isn’t just busy scoring. He should also support the defense to keep the puck as far away from his own goal as possible.

Wingers Players (Left and Right) - is the middle part. They also support the center and score goals. The wingers perform different tasks depending on the game situation. They try to score goals and if the opposing team has a puck, they move on to the defense. So the right winger covers the left defender of the opposing team, the left winger is the right defender. The task of the wingers is to move the puck out of the defensive zone and prevent the opposing defenders from getting the puck. Wingers should be fast ice skaters.
