What is Bronny's evaluation after the Summer League?

Bronny James (20), the son of the king of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA), has finished his summer league schedule of the NBA. He has shown his potential, but he needs to improve his skills to continue playing at the NBA level.

The Lakers did not allow Bronny to play in the final Summer League game against the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. CBS Sports said on Sunday that the team has decided to rest Bronny, Dalton Knecht and Maxwell Lewis for medical reasons. "He has no special injuries requiring rehabilitation, but he has given some of the young players who have played more games than other teams to rest." With this, Bronny's first Summer League game ended with seven appearances.

Bronny, the son of NBA living legend LeBron James, who wore a Lakers uniform with the 55th overall pick in the rookie draft, drew attention every step of the way. The son of the top star played a tough game under the pressure of his mind throughout the summer league amid the view that he was "free-riding" thanks to his father.

During his first five games, he threw 15 3-pointers and failed to make a single success, drawing criticism from the team through difficulties in offense. However, Bronny scored 25 points in the last two games. He scored double-digit points in two consecutive games, displaying potential in offense as well as defense capabilities. "Bronnie has played pretty well in the last two games," Lakers Summer League coach Dane Johnson said. "It's enough for him to be able to play at this level with confidence. Of course, he's still going to need a lot of time and a lot of repetition."
