Sahara Las Vegas officially returns to Streep

The iconic Sahara's name returned to the streets of Las Vegas, but it never left in the hearts of many people.

"We got a lot of feedback from a lot of people who said they didn't stop calling it Sahara," Rachel Hunt, the newly released vice president of marketing at Sahara Las Vegas, said with a smile at Casino City. "According to many of our findings, the Sahara name had almost a larger stake in many ways than it had before it disappeared for a while.

"It's safe to say that people are excited to see the name officially return."

For nearly 60 years, the hotel-casino with camel-themed signs and domed roofs has been a staple of the strip. Three years after the typical Las Vegas property closed in 2011, SLS Las Vegas opened with a whole new look and feel in the same space on the northern end of the strip.   에볼루션 바카라사이트

In April 2018, the Meruello Group purchased SLS and immediately began planning a $150 million renovation and refresh. Just a few months ago, the property was announced to be rebranded as Sahara Las Vegas with great fanfare, and it went official on Thursday, less than 48 hours after the 32-foot-tall Sam by Stark statue at the entrance to SLS was destroyed and removed.
