Die klassische Einwegkommunikation in Werbung und Direktmarketing stoße zunehmend an ihre Grenzen. Das behaupten zumindest die Handelshochschule Leipzig (HHL) und die Unternehmensberatung McKinsey & Company. Sie haben dazu eine Studie erstellt.
In Deutschland ist die Bedeutung der sozialen Medien für die Markenbildung zwar geringer, aber die Rolle des Internet als Recherchemedium vor einem Produktkauf ist ebenso hoch. 97 Prozent aller 40 Millionen Nutzer schauen hierzulande vor dem Kauf eines Produkts im Internet nach, hat das Marktforschungsunternehmen Allensbach herausgefunden. Zwar hängt es stark vom Produkt ab, in welchem Umfang eine Online-Recherche dann auch in einen Kauf per Mausklick mündet, aber generell gilt, dass Käufen in allen Produktgruppen in der Regel Online-Recherchen vorausgehen, schreiben die Allensbach-Forscher.
