This section of the site has a nice history of jams, jellies, and marmalade. Overall this site would have made a great starting point prior to making the jam.
Evidence suggests the making of jam and jelly most likely began many centuries ago in Middle
This site was very informative and this section on the differences between all of the different spreads would have been extremely useful prior to making my jam. It might have also confirmed earlier on that jam was the right product for my wine grapes.
This site I particularly like because of Clippy McKenna's mission. I tend to stay away from store bought jams in general and seek out jams from farmer's markets and shops that sell homemade products. Clippy is a "master preserver" and has developed some unique preserves.
This site has some nice reference videos all in one place for quick access, as well as a brief history of jam making and types of preserves.
Brief history of preserves. The video section of the website was useful in some of my preliminary research.
