This movie postulates what if there is more than one universe. And that all of these universes are held together by one single stream of energy and that energy is equally distributed to every living in each universe and if one of these beings die, that energy is reallocated equally to each other surviving member. And with each allocation, a person becomes stronger. Now one universe has mastered the ability of crossing into another universe, and a man named Shulaw who believes that if he can kill all of his counterparts, he will become invincible, but there are those who believe that it might have detrimental effects, so try and stop him. Unfortunately, he just has one more person to kill, Gabe Law, but the officers follow Shulaw but Shulaw has committed some crimes and Gabe is accused and is wanted. But Gabe discovers that he has changed and only wants to kill Shulaw not realizing what could happen. A rogue Multiverse agent goes on a manhunt for versions of himself, getting stronger with each kill. With only one version remaining, he races against the clock to finish him and become "The One." These directors do not have much talent in the movie industry. It was total matrix wanna-be. You should definitely be ashamed of yourself. If you thought you could be the Matrix you're dead wrong, because this is no Matrix. If you look at it's ratings you could tell that it's no Matrix. The One rating: 5.4 stars. The Matrix: 8.5. Do you see a difference? I certainly do. I'll probably see the movie anyway just see how much of a rip off it is of the Matrix. P.S. The only thing in this world that can do Matrix moves are it's sequels. Never do the dodge bullet scene. It just shows that you don't have your own imagination. The One has to be one of the strangest films I've seen this year. Its got a goofy story filled to the brim with some of the oldest cliches ever. Its got confusing characters who just when they're about to develop a personality get moved to the back burner for the action sequences, which a pretty cool actually. And then theres a scene with evil Jet Li screaming " Your're all my bitches! " to a bunch of scraggly looking convicts before beating the hell out of them. To say all, I liked it! Just wish they had focused on developing the script as much as the action sequences.Still its humor was right on, and the action was constant. Fight scenes were choregraphed well especially one I thought was good, the eventual fight scene between the two Li's.

All in all it was better at entertaining me than most of the supposed popcorn flicks over the summer that ended up being total crap. It's called One, and the hemorrhaging begins with the so-called story, which doesn't quite add up to one. a5c7b9f00b
