My absolute favorite movies are shark movies. Ive watched every shark movie you could imagine. I think this movie was pretty damn good and the only thing I could say needs work is the motion picture, the sharks look fake and it's obvious, hence why I gave a rating of 8 instead of 10.
I like when the sharks look more real. But this was a good movie, it was funny, there was thrill, it was well played.
I would recommend watching this to see for yourself because I got on here and read like 5 or 6 reviews before I even watched the movie and I'm actually glad I ignored everyone's negative reviews because I enjoyed the movie.

Deep Blue Sea 2 suffers from what most sequels suffer since forever which is a bad script and a bad storyline, this film isn't even a sequel it's more of a terrible remake with god awful cgi sharks, bad acting and humor that doesn't even work (the fishermen at the beginning literally take a selfie which is a hobby for films to do nowadays). The original film was for sure over the top but it was fun and it had a talented cast as well but Deep Blue Sea 2 has none of those things. (0/10)
